The term “e-waste” is an abbreviation of “electronic waste”. A key part of the definition is the word “waste” and what it logically implies – that the item has no further use and is rejected as useless or excess to the owner in its current condition.
GEM plays an active role in protecting our Environment, through the correct Recycling and Disposal facilities for all Electronic Waste.
Through the recycling of end of life electronics, you are being pro-active towards the e-waste problem we face, as e-waste may not be directed to Landfill due to its mercury, cadmium and lithium content which is all Hazardous.
All e-waste collections from Organizations will be issued with a Safe Destructive Certificate for Proof of Disposal.
