​GEM is currently launching Recycling Initiatives at various schools in the Germiston and surrounding areas, creating the opportunity for the schools to create additional income while saving the environment, at no cost to themselves. Through this opportunity scholars, are learning the importance of recycling, and the monies that can be generated through recycling all while aiming for a Zero Waste to Landfill Future.​
